The path to the falls is pretty tricky in spots. When the falls are great the lower path could be washed out. There is a path up top that's not quite as scenic and almost in people's backyards. In the summer when the river is a trickle it's much easier and much less majestic. If the path is there it's about a 15 minute walk from the parking lot.
It's a beautiful waterfall. There is a short but steep climb to the top of the falls.
Beautiful place to go for a walk. Parking is free. I recommend going before the dry season hits. These falls dry up to a trickle in the dry season and sometimes get clogged up in the fall. Spring/ early summer recommended.
A challenging hike due to the steep climb to the observation point overlooking the falls. Depending on the water levels, you may also be able to walk up the river to the base of the falls, which may be difficult.
It was a bit of a walk but most definitely worth it. The walk to the falls is absolutely stunning!
