We attended a wedding this past weekend and the reception was held at this hotel. We booked a king suite with a water view and looked forward to our stay. We requested an early check-in and they were able to accommodate us, allowing us into our room early enough to change clothes before the ceremony at the church. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.The reception was excellent, the food was the best. The salad was amazing and drew plenty of compliments, the prime rib and the chicken ...... perfect. There were plenty of servers and the food was received piping hot (which is sometimes difficult with a large crowd.) Great dessert!The room was excellent, the best view ever. It was spotless, the bathroom was sparkling clean, the towels white and fluffy. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets crisp and cool. This hotel is the best by far and I would recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Owen Sound. Best stay anywhere!!Lillian Phillips
Excellent service. Staff and management works beyond and exceed expectation to fulfill customer need. They are able to accommodate my last minute booking for my family trip with my pet. Decent room, excellent location with restaurant and bay front view.Will definitely come back next time when I visit Owen sound area.Highly recommend!!
The staff were great with not only us, but our children as well. Our room was spacious and clean, and our view wasn't too shabby either. It was nice having a restaurant on site and we enjoyed our breakfasts there. I wasn't impressed with the Lobster Thermador and found it was really sparse on the seafood and very bland, but the servers we had during our stay were great. Will stay there again.
Excellent hotel. Very professional and helpful staff. Beds were very comfortable. Excellent restaurant within hotel. Excellent staff and food. Housekeeping was excellent and very obliging. We travel with our dog and felt very welcome even though this is a higher end facility. Beautiful grounds and walking trails and site is right on the waters edge. Definitely will return!
Only a 3 star ... This has to be a mistake. The service and care given to every guest is extraordinary. The dining room consistently delivers exceptional dishes. The staff provide timely, courteous service. Great views of the lake. Conveniently located. I highly recommend this location for your next visit in Owen Sound.
