We came in at 4:36 and asked about getting a wrap. Come back another day the man at the counter suggested. We close at 5. The sign on the door says no orders after 4:45. We went next door and had a Fabulous meal with exceptional service. Glad we didn't get served at the Lazy Bleedin' Carrot.
The Bleeding Carrot is a casual place to eat, get together with friends over coffee or to browse through an eclectic selection of books, clothing, knickknacks, local art and food items for sale. I always love to stop for a bowl of hearty, delicious soup. Salads, wraps, smoothies, fresh juice and baked goodies never disappoint either. The place also serves as a kind of community hub. Seating ranges from intimate and cosy to tables facing the main street, whatever you feel like.
Quality of food is grand and has local ingredients, made from scratch in front of you to see. Staff is courteous and efficient. Enjoy the embeance and looking for stuff that was not there two days earlier. Cheers....a gem in the down town
There food is excellent! The owners are very friendly and understanding.they take the time to make you feel comfortable. I give them a high five for being loving and caring!
Love the homey atmosphere in this restaurant! They look very kid friendly and on top of all the good food and smoothie options they have a wall full of many local goods, ranging from snacks to books all with the intent of being Vegetarian and Vegan friendly. They use biodegradable straws and are open to customization of wraps. I would really recommend this place for someone looking for fresh local food or someone looking to enjoy a good smoothie or juice as the ones I tried were amazing!
