Great place. Chantelle was exceptional, fun and really looked after us. Food delicious, on time and hot. Good portion size. Burgers were made in house. Prices were reasonable. Will be back.
I had a burger with fries. Not sure exactly the name - I think it was the cracked peppercorn, but it was very good. The only problem was the service was so slow. Took a full 30 minutes to get my meal after ordering, which is a bit much. Then I waited a while after eating but finally gave up and went to the bar to ask to pay. Maybe a busy day, I don't know. Anyway, the food was good, so I'll generously give 4 stars.
We spent the night in Owen Sound and decided to get dinner. Upon looking up local places we decided on Shortys Grill. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing. The staff were friendly and outgoing even despite how busy the restaurant remained. Definitely recommend this place.
Appears to be the place to go in Owen Sound. Very busy, lively and a touch noisy for a Tuesday evening. I had the California burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would have it again but there are other items on the menu that look great too.Would definitely come back here!
