Nice clean theatres with comfortable seats. Fun place to take children, lots of games & vending machines to entertain them until you go into the movie. Tables and chairs in the lobby area are nice for older people waiting with grandchildren. Only drawback is the prices for snacks. Very expensive, but that seems to be normal everywhere these days. Bathrooms are clean too!
Nice place with a small arcade to keep kids occupied before the movie. Unfortunately concession lines can be very long as too few staff struggle to keep up. Your best bet is to buy your tickets online ahead of time so you are not forced into the line as you just might miss the start of your movie...which has happened to me a couple of times.
Friendly Staff at Galaxy Cinemas Owen Sound! The game room could be updated a bit and maybe one of the theaters could be converted into a VIP lounge but over all the facility is acceptable.Had a great time with the family.
A typical Cineplex with an exceptional staff. Everyone said hi and actively listened. The concession stand was very friendly. The manager also offered to store my motorcycle helmet in her office and had it ready when I left the theatre. Amazing experience and I will be back again soon!
The theatre has an unblemished record of selecting trash, movies targeted at slow-witted 10 year olds. Who are the dotards responsible? Not wishing to think ill of any Owen Sounder, I'm wondering whether corporate headquarters forces this tripe down local throats. To be fair, once in a great while a great film on Sunday, for example Casablanca. First time I'd had the opportunity to see it on a big screen. And hats off to the staff who are unfailingly pleasant, provide efficient service at the concession counter, and keep the place sparkling clean. Perhaps the deciders could read some reviews (what's been on offer during the six years I've been in Owen Sound has been almost always panned by in Canada and the US) before choosing.
