I recently moved to Owen Sound and I was in search of a new salon. Everyone at Aveda was very professional and the owner went the extra mile to ensure I was satisfied with their service. I will definitely be back.
In two words: exceeded expectations. I went in for a color correction from box-dyed red to sandy brown, and was scheduled with Shea. I went in expecting the typical damage expected from bleach and the knowledge that my color would be a bit darker. In reality, I was greeted at the front counter, brought to a chair and offered a choice of tea, coffee or water. The service and employees all around were exceptional, it felt more like an experience than just a dye job. After discussing what I was looking for, Shea along with another stylist Alyssa began the lengthy task of striping the red from my hair, and left me with a cup of tea and magazines while my hair lightens up. The end result of the lift was pretty good for a box dye. After a wash, Shea did a great job of matching the dye to the color I was looking for.After 3 hours I left with a great color, no noticeable damage left from bleach and hair that looks and feels great. I had a great experience and loved that Shea took the time to get it just right.
